Tone stomach and waist

One of the first places that many Callanetics students notice a difference is around the waist and stomach areas.

After practising your first 'Waist Away' exercise, you’ll be able to notice a distinct difference in the tightness and tone of your waist immediately. This Callanetics exercise really works that quickly and because of that, it is used in every class!

And the stomach exercises of Callanetics are just as revolutionary. Unlike traditional stomach crunches and sit ups, where the back muscles are used along with the stomach muscles, Callanetics uses a more intense approach which only involves the muscles of the upper and lower stomach.

With every Callanetics stomach exercise, your stomach muscles will be in constant contraction. This is achieved through a number of techniques; including tilting your pelvis and curling your chest over your waist. Tiny pulsing repetitions are then introduced which deeply isolate the stomach muscles, working them like they never worked before.
